GRADUATE RECORD EXAMINATIONS

It is a standardized test for students who want to pursue business studies. The GRE test allows you to skip questions, change your answers and have control to tackle the questions you want to answer first.
The test is divided into two parts namely, GRE General Test that is conducted on computer and GRE Subject Test that is conducted on paper.
Administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), GRE is an exam to evaluate the verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing and critical thinking skills of the students.

The duration of the test is about 3 hours and 45 minutes. The test is divided into 6 sections. The first is analytical writing section, the second and third consists of two verbal reasoning sections, the fourth and fifth consist of quantitative reasoning sections, and the sixth consists of either an experimental or research section.
The candidate receives the score on a scale of 130-170. You can retake the exam every 21 days, up to five times within a year (365 days). You can send your best scores to the institute you wish to apply to. You can send your score through the ScoreSelect option available only with GRE tests. The success of your admission highly depends on the scores achieved in the GRE test.
